Over at Taggle, we want you Tagglers to build meaningful connections and memorable experiences in a modern world. We hope that unique relationships can form and that fun and exciting communities can blossom. We believe that our vision can only be attained in a safe environment, where everyone has the freedom to express themselves. Therefore, Taggle is fully committed to ensuring your safety and well-being on the platform. In line with this, we would like to introduce our Guiding Principles on safety.

Guiding Principle 1: Keep your identity close.

Only reveal your first name—or preferred name—and keep the rest of your identity to yourself. Do not reveal private and personal information such as your phone number, home address, financial information, and other identifying information such as government cards, workplace cards, and so on.

Keep transactions—from communication to payment requiring your personal information—on the official Taggle platform throughout the entire process, and report suspicious behaviour immediately through official Taggle channels.

Guiding Principle 2: Ask sooner and know earlier.

As Taggle is a platform designed for you to connect with others, we at Taggle value open communication. There are no concerns too trivial or questions too simple, and we are fully committed to answering any queries you have not only about our products and services, but also processes, tips, and tricks.

Furthermore, our secure messaging tool is a safe and easy way for you to ask the organisers and fellow joiners questions before participating in an activity. After your request to join has been approved, take this opportunity to ask questions and keep in touch up until meeting each other. Ensure that you are well-prepared for the intensity level of the activity.

Guiding Principle 3: Let someone else know.

Although Taggle has internal systems, measures, and practices in place to keep you safe, telling others such as family, friends, and colleagues about your Taggle will help a lot should unforeseen issues or problems arise. Remember to have their contact information and make sure you can reach one of them at any given point in time.

Guiding Principle 4: Be simple and start small.

Start out with Taggles that do not require complicated and complex set-ups or difficult arrangements. Instead, start small and simple. Take full advantage of the difficulty labels that Taggle offers. You can also go to upcoming events where you know there will be plenty of people doing similar things.

Guiding Principle 5: Display courtesy and politeness.

We at Taggle embrace the many diverse and multifaceted individuals from all walks of life, who have had their pasts and cultures culminate into vast, complex, and ultimately interesting perspectives. Each and every individual has their own personality, and we would like nothing more than to allow these minute differences to shine. In line with this, in order for Taggle to remain a safe and open space for everyone, we require Tagglers to maintain a sense of social awareness and responsibility as not everyone will share the same beliefs, ideas, opinions, or thoughts.

Finally, we ask that you report suspicious behaviour and violations of our terms and conditions such as unsolicited requests for money or donations; fraud, scams, and spams; unwarranted sharing of sensitive media; harassment and inappropriate behaviour; and so on.
